Say goodbye to stripped out screws, excessive weight, and wasted space. Using marine grade aluminum was a no brainer when designing the SourceKrate. It provides a rigid, lightweight, and durable shell. The aluminum panels weigh 4 lbs, which brings the anglers bundle to only 6 lbs. Aluminum also provides the ability to have M-LOK slots, making for sturdy mounting for both your accessories, and keeping your crate secure to your kayak.
Additive manufacturing (AKA 3d printing) unlocks the ability to rapidly develop, release, and modify our products. Careful design and material selection allow us to do that without compromising strength, or weather resistance. It also allows for different shapes and features compared to other plastics manufacturing processes. The best thing about 3d printing, is the accessibility.
